The system suffered two events that disabled all segments between Singapore and Marseille.
One event has been rectified already and capacity has restored on all segments between Jeddah and Singapore.
The other event is a cable cut, 180.38km from Zafarana. This cut has impacted all traffic heading towards Marseille.
We don't have an official ETR yet, but we do expect this to be at least an outage that extends to roughly a 4-8 week period.
Next update will be when we have official information to share, likely an exact ETR.

We have noted a fault on the AAE-1 submarine cable system. While the exact details and estimated time for resolution (ETR) are not yet available, we know the cable has sustained damage.
Traffic has automatically been rerouted through alternative paths via Oman. During this period, customers may experience increased latency.
